Beautiful raw milky coloured beads with a champagne coloured thread.
Each bead is individually knotted for safety and all are made with a screw clasp.
It is believed that amber works as an anti-inflammatory soothing sore gums and calming baby. Succinic acid is a natural occurring substance in the body that is also found in Baltic amber, the idea is that when the beads warm, a minute amount of oil containing succinic acid is released and when this oil is absorbed by the body it has an analgesic effect on swollen, sore gums.
Do they work? I can’t tell you 100% that they work but my babies have worn them since they were tiny (2 year old still wears his) and they seem to – for the most part been ok with teething. Some people swear by them and I’ve never heard anyone say that they don’t work and of course they look cute.
